Nepal Visa

Planning your trek or tour in Nepal? One of the first steps is securing your Nepal Tourist Visa and we’re here to make the process easy.

As your trusted trekking partner, Great Adventure Nepal helps guide you through every part of your journey, including understanding how and where to get your visa. The good news? Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) or at various land border crossings.

Who Needs a Visa Before Arrival?

While most travelers can get a visa on arrival, a few nationalities (such as those from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, and others) need to obtain a visa in advance from their nearest Nepalese Embassy or Consulate. If you're unsure, reach out to us and we’ll guide you.

 Multiple Entry Visas

If your trek includes a side trip to Bhutan, India, or Tibet, we recommend applying for a multiple-entry visa. You can request this at the airport or upgrade later through Nepal’s immigration office in Kathmandu.

Trekking Permits Are Separate

Please note: Your Nepal visa is different from trekking permits like the TIMS card, Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP), or Sagarmatha National Park Permit. We take care of all permits on your behalf once your trip is booked with us — so you don’t need to worry about a thing.
